CNA Classes in Arkansas

CNAs from other states can transfer to Arkansas if their license is active and in good standing. You must apply for reciprocity through the Headmaster TMU system for approval by the Department of Human Services. There is typically no requirement to retake training if your home state requirements meet Arkansas standards.

Arkansas follows the federal guidelines allowing a "Nurse Aide in Training" to work for up to 120 days (4 months) in a nursing facility while completing their 90-hour training and passing the state exam. You must be actively pursuing certification to remain employed under this rule.
